What if the furniture does not fit the Sea Point lift?
Say so in the brief. The mover then decides whether stairs, a hoist, or leaving the piece behind is realistic. Lekker Moves does not supply a hoist.

Movers in Sea Point
Sea Point is high-rises and older blocks along Beach Road and the avenues behind it. The practical limit is often the lift car, not the distance to the City Bowl. If a couch or a fridge will not fit, the mover needs to know before they arrive, because the stairs in some blocks are the only other path.
Standing a truck on Beach Road is restricted and windy. Say whether the building has a basement entrance or a side lane. A move onward to a Constantia or Durbanville house is a Cape Town move with a house at the far end. A move to Johannesburg is a furniture removal.
This page is not a claim that a crew lives in Sea Point. It is the request for movers who cover the Atlantic Seaboard and have opted in.
What to put in the request
- Floor and lift dimensions if you know them
- Pieces that may not fit the lift
- Basement or street loading

Questions
Does Lekker Moves move the goods in Sea Point?
No. Lekker Moves is a lead generator for The Lekker Network. The request is shown to movers who cover Sea Point and have opted in. The mover you hire does the work, quotes the price, and is responsible for the goods.
Do you publish a price for the move?
No. Lekker Moves does not publish a rate card. Distance, stairs, lift bookings, parking, packing, and the date all change the quote. Ask the mover what is included. Requesting the match is free, and you pay a mover only if you hire them.
